MindMaze has developed enhanced user interfaces, including a lightweight, wearable Head Mounted Display (MindLeap) and 3D motion capture cameras that offer immersive VR, gesture and multiple object/user recognition and augmented reality capabilities – as well as even thought-powered VR/AR responses. They integrate these capabilities with neuroscience-based protocols to design real time feedback tailored to the user’s needs and abilities.  Real-time multisensory feedback also enhances patients’ awareness of their performance and deficits, and immersive virtual reality can be tailored according to patient’s preferences and needs, motivating patients to maximize training.
Within Healthcare, MindMaze’s MindMotion PRO technology is a mobile rehabilitation system that incorporates VR to personalize exercise sessions for patients. For clinicians, MindMotion PRO technology allows for customization of doses and therapies , as well as monitoring of patient performance. For hospitals, MindMotion PRO optimizes rehabilitation delivery and improves diagnostic data to improve discharge statuses.

Product / Service Offerings:

Uses motion capture sensors to provide position and orientation and enable real time mapping onto a virtual character (avatar), while being compatible with different postures (lying, sitting and standing) irrespective of the environment. In addition, body sway and posture are monitored to optimize the visual feedback to the patient. Post session analysis is provided by the system to track patient’s performance evolution.  The program also allows recording of non-invasive electroencephalographic (EEG) signals to investigate multisensory and motor processes underlying movement recovery. Continuous brain monitoring during specific goal directed tasks in our virtual environments and its correlation to movement performance provides novel objectives markers for treatment.
A dual VR/AR headset with 6 degrees of freedom, integrated motion capture, and high resolution gesture recognition.  The HMD allows users to switch between virtual and augmented reality modes.  The system also uses a real-time 3D camera, synchronized to external sensors wirelessly.   Additionally, MindMaze is working towards thought-powered responsiveness in the headset, using electrodes and motion-capture technology to scan and then predict brain and muscle activity in the user, in order to power gameplay and experiences in both virtual and augmented reality through the user’s thoughts.

Customers:  Primary customers would be neurologists and hospitals, with an objective to optimize patient rehabilitation, and scale usage such that hospitals can optimize discharge.
